Description
Zesty is stackable up to 10 pieces.
Design of Zesty chair speaks for itself. In addition, its function is outstanding and its technology and construction is challenging and impressive. It catches everyone’s eye with expressive yet delicate form that provides for construction durability. Success of the product is in its development process, starting from initial idea to industrial strategy and perfect market positioning.
Henrik Kjellberg, Designer o4i:
"We really started out on a blank sheet of paper with a very challenging request: design a lightweight, stackable chair in moulded plywood ONLY. No metal, no screws, no solid wood. During the design process we became so obsessed and exited over the few parts and low weight that it was truly painful to finally add the 4 small felt gliders at the bottom of each leg!"
ZESTY is assembled by only 3 moulded parts and weighs as little as 2,9 kg (6,4 lb). It has passed the standardized EN1728 and ANSI/BIFMA strength and durability tests required for public furniture in the EU and USA. With a very characteristic leg frame and a slender profile ZESTY stacks safely and effective up to 10 chairs without trolley and is available in birch, stained or lacquered versions, in walnut or European oak. In addition, variations between color of seat part and legs are also possible.
